Fjallroven’s own Supreme Micro Loft synthetic insulation provides warmth without weight. Supreme Micro Loft is a blend of thin and slightly thicker microfibers coated in silicon. The variety in the microfibers creates pockets of air in the same way down clusters create a matrix of air pockets. Air pockets create an invisible boundary between the cold air outside and the warm air surrounding your body, so the warm air stays where you want it—around you.

Because the Luhkka is a cape, you can wear it as your only jacket, or throw it over a hoodless jacket for an extra layer of warmth. Large kangaroo pockets hold your cell phone and your toddler’s toys, and a zippered chest pocket keeps cash and kiddie snacks safe. The Luhkka has a hood with a removable faux fur lining and a half-zip neck, so you can customize the jacket to fit the weather. Buttons at the wrists keep this cape from flapping away with you in it.
